Well into January now and no doubt everyone's New Years resolutions will be to lose weight or get fitter. It will only happen if you are committed to doing it and I compare it to giving up smoking! I'm an ex smoker and I needed the determination and drive to do it and give up. I did it and healthier ever since. If you stick to plan this works!! Had a few bad meals the last couple of weeks with work etc but back on it now for the next week before we go skiing to Bulgaria. I'm going to have a good time on my ski holiday so I want to get to lower end of target before I go. (May not achieve this ha, but I'll give it a damn good try!!). Well hope you have all had a fantastic Christmas and hopefully an even better new year. I weighed in on 18th Dec and somehow managed to lose 1/2 lb to my amazement. Taking me to 12st 1/2lb. Then Christmas came and the food and the drink flowed and I ate sweets etc. All coming to a head now and I have decided to take part in a non charitable dry January........well until I go skiing on 27th anyway s. Soup batch cooked this evening getting ready for the new year and shifting the slight excess I have gained over the festive period. I'm sure many have gained and many have stayed the same and many have lost. But new year new you so draw a line and continue or start again. It's your decision to change so let the new year bring you happiness and a new you!!? It did for me 12 months ago! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
I weighed back end of last week having not been to a group since Halloween. 2 1/2lb gain taking me to 12st 1 which is just 1lb over target weight so I'm the higher end of my target buffer. Since weigh in I've had reasonable meals but lots of treats and beers. I woke up this morning and jumped on the scales at home to find that they were weighing me at 12st 4lb. Group scales tend to be one pound less than ours at home so that looks like a 2lb gain since last week. I then prepared a Mexican inspired speedy breakfast of onion, pepper, cabbage, garlic and chilli Pan fried with a egg mixed through st the last minute. Served with 2 Aldi butchers select low fat sausages. Although I wish I'd checked syn value of sausages as I thought they were less than 3 each. Work this afternoon so I've got a meal out of the freezer of mince and veg fully free with speed veg and a tray of broccoli and cauliflower and a tray of sprouts to maximise the intake of speed foods. Plenty of water to be consumed too. Wanting to get back into lower end of target bubble as beginning of December we have Xmas parties to attend.
so new shirts on today and they are 14.5 collar instead of the usual 16.5 so happy days. Lunch consisted of a Sunday carvery and then dinner, which was made by the wife was SW nacho chilli without the nachos.... just speed veg and butternut and sweet potato roasted. Has to be one of my favourite SW meals.
Serve our lightened-up version of nachos with lots of Speed Free Foods and you'll be saying "Arriba, arriba!" on the scales next week. ingredients
1265 So here is my journey so far in picture form with the certificates I have received and my full weigh in logs. Fast at the beginning but that was obsession and dedication with no syns which clearly worked. Syns are there for moments of weakness and not, in my opinion a must have on a day to day basis. Less syns consumed the more weight you lose. I proved this.
Life happens so when your out and about and need to pick up some lunch/dinner then make some wise choices to maximise your weight loss. Subway salad is the way forward. Just look at some of this syn values of the well known chains. WOW!!!!!!
So I made a syn free spicy meatloaf with 5% mince, one egg, Worcestershire sauce, a tsp each of garlic, 5 spice. Shake of salt and pepper and squish all together. Placed in a foil tray and backed at 190 for 40 mins.
Two slices and s plate of speed veg to pack me up before I work with the wife this afternoon as on quick flights so will no doubt have no time to eat. The wife's lunch was a baked potato with baked beans and 50% less fat cheddar cheese as HEX A. Fuelling ourselves up!!! Low Syn Syn free using HEX A/B You'd never believe this creamy treat is fantastically Free, and there are heaps of alternative flavours you can create.

4/11/2107Breakfast consisted of a ham omelette and a banana. Lunch/dinner was a chixken and bacon pizza with BBQ sauce (I hear you all saying how many syns?? Fuck knows haha) but that was all the food I've had today plus I'm a target member so I can afford it. Few beers a few more syns but hey ho. I know that if I gain I can 100% food optimise and lose the gain as I have proved with a 7.5lb loss in 6 days. If your not committed then you will fail or have very slow weight losses. If you are dedicated then great things can be achieved on your weight loss journey!!
